ZANU PF Second Secretary

Hon Cde Kembo Campbell Dugishi Mohadi (MP) is one of the two serving ZANU PF Second Secretaries appointed by the ZANU PF First Secretary His Excellency Dr. ED Mnangagwa. He also served as the 5^th Second Vice President of Zimbabwe from December 2017 to March 2021 before resigning in order to focus on Party Affairs and Restructuring. He is a member of the ZANU PF Central Committee and Politburo. Cde Mohadi is amongst the remaining liberation war veterans who gave their lives for the liberation of Zimbabwe. He has a rich history on the warfront and nationalist politics. He is amongst Zimbabwean citizens placed on the infamous United States Sanctions list. Cde Mohadi plays an instrumental role in Peace Building in the nation. His Excellency the President Dr. ED Mnangagwa appointed him in charge of National Peace and Reconciliation, an arm of the Government currently responsible for bringing closure to the to the Matabeleland Disturbances formerly known as Gukurahundi.  He joined the liberation struggle at a young age under ZAPU and received military training in Russia and other allied nations. He is also a political detainee and served a prison term at Khami Prison for challenging the colonial government. Cde Mohadi is also a renowned farmer and accomplished businessman supporting His Excellency the President Dr. ED Mnangagwa’s mantra #NyikaInovakwaneVeneVayo
